Hi everyone — need recommendations for a 9 kg front-load washing machine (5-star energy rating) with Wi-Fi. Important requirement: easy & cheap to repair — spare parts should be available and the drum/bearing or motor should be replaceable separately without having to buy an entire drum assembly. I’m fine paying a higher upfront cost for a reliable, serviceable machine. Context: my previous Bosch front-load’s drum bearing failed and Bosch’s design required replacing the whole drum (cost ~60% of the new machine) — I want to avoid that again. Are IFB Front loads repair friendly? Update / Thanks everyone! 🙏 Really appreciate all the suggestions, experiences, and advice shared here — it helped a lot! After going through all the recommendations, I decided to go with the LG 9 kg Front Load 5-Star Direct Drive Washing Machine https://amzn.in/d/e3KYEBJ — but I picked it up from a local showroom for ₹33,000. I definitely will share my first impression and my review after using it.

laundry “Enough suds?”

I usually do 5 rinse cycles, my front loader is Panasonic brand and I once sat down and watched the machine go for a solid 1.5h 😅 The leftover suds aren't irritating my skin, i guess I'll just keep going with NANOX and observe. The old detergent residue has to be on the fabrics themselves right? Since I've flushed the drum so thoroughly (13 times has got to be a record) Am I supposed to do tub clean weekly? I've been doing it monthly (i set a calendar reminder for once a month) 😅
