From the router to my room there is a brick wall, 3.7m (another bedroom), and then another brick wall. If so, does the range extender need to be particularly good and what range extender should I buy? And where would the range extender best be placed? **Note**: I bought a Mercusys MR30G AC1200Â router that i was planning to use as an access point with \~20m of ethernet. But if a range extender works that'll save the hassle.
