This requires all devices to authenticate with a strict digital certificate, preventing any unmanaged devices from connecting and bypassing your network's traffic filters. This is more of a nuclear option. As many have stated it is simpler to talk to the kids about device usage boundaries. As an aside, if I built a solution where I managed your enterprise grade equipment with 4 network zones (VLANs), Primary, IOT (Door locks, garage door, alarm system, blinds, TVs, etc.), Guest and Kids (Parental controls - time of day, usage limits and site limits) and mobile device management for the actual devices in the home.
