Main router TPLink XC220 G3V Connected to 2 APs via lan to lan connection AP1 - DLink DIR- 825, Static IP assigned, Dedicated AP Mode, DHCP disabled, AP Isolation disabled AP2 - TPLink Archer C7, Static IP Assigned, Dedicated, AP Mode, DHCP disabled, AP Isolation disabled. 1. Now a device connected to AP1 WiFi can't communicate with device connected to AP2. 2. Internet works across devices. 3. When connected to main router, everything is accessible. 4. When connected to either APs wifi and perform a network device search, it only reaches till main rouer. Other AP or devices connected to it are not visible. Please help me understand where could be the problem and what is the solution. I have a home server connected to AP2 which i mainly want to acces via AP1 and this setup is not allowing me. Its accessible via tailscale though.

Hi! I currently have a D-Link DIR-878 A1. OpenWrt has been much better than the stock firmware, but since some things are not 100% optimized yet, like Felix Fietkau said about the mt76 chip, the Wi-Fi ends up slower compared to other routers. I want to upgrade to a Wi-Fi 6E router with 1GB of RAM and, if possible, still using an MTK chip. These are my minimum preferences. My internet speed is 600 Mbps. My problem is that I live in Brazil and I am not sure which models I should look for.

Unifi is an investment and is the way. You can buy any cheap tp link, Asus, link sys, d link, etc and be fine... We have all been down that rabbit hole.... Even good old net Duma.... 😂. Make the investment and u won't have to worry baiut ping spikes, lag or Omg I can't get internet in my garage..... What do I do. 😏
