K556 Dharma Pro RGB Mechanical Keyboard

The Redragon K556 is apparently hotswappable so you could buy one & swap out the switches. Alternatively, you could buy one with brown switches in already.

i feel you on the wired only life. at that budget, the redragon k556 is a solid pick for a full size board that's actually built well and has a volume knob. for 75%, the royal kludge r75 has that creamy sound right out of the box. both are wired and have decent software. for the mouse, the logitech g305 is a classic, but if you want rgb and wired, the razer viper mini is hard to beat. that combo should land you right around $100 and fit your black and white theme.

Redragon has a couple of bezelless keyboards with aluminum cases I like specifically because they won't attract.....things.....living inside them. Keyboards get pretty nasty after a while. The K556 (wired) and the K556 Pro (Wireless). These can be cleaned easily and there's no gaps for crud to invade. I don't game really, I use the wireless one for work. They both came with mush keys IMO, which I replaced with Kailh Bamboo (55gf) switches, which are better, but I think I'd still like more thonk, so I dunno, I think I'd still like something more. The wired Kb is fine. The Wireless one needs to be recharged every 3 days or so of office use, it hibernates when not being used. The wired one is probably brighter overall because it's not trying to save on the battery. Battery appears to be non-replaceable, dunno it's lifespan. They were both around $60 on their own. I don't bother with using the software. I don't need fancy features.
