“i've been down this road before. the keychron k3 pro hits that sweet spot with low latency and great typing feel. also check out the nuphy air75 v2 - both are low profile like your mx but with much better gaming performance. the logitech g915 lightspeed is another solid pick if you want to stick with logitech.”

mechanicalkeyboards “Runescape Keyboard Build - Keychron Q3 + Outemu Silent Yellow Jade”

Keyboard: Keychron Q3 Ultra 8k Switches: Outemu Silent Yellow Jade V2 (Note: 90 pc pack, 1 came damaged, 1 got bent going in, and 1 left over.) Keycaps: Runescape X Starforge collaboration Started out on a Logitech G915, but wanted a keyboard to display the fun new keycaps. Initially started with a RK L75, but found out that the software sucked, however the switches were pretty nice. That keyboard alone was a step up from logitech. Then I tested out the Keychron V3 and didnt like the fit/finish on it (spacebar was rubbing the bottom plastics), so I upgraded to the Q3 ultra. I went with Keychron because I've used the K1sed1 for years and haven't had an issue with the product. I like the software for the Q3, it is fairly simple to use and the big thing is that you can keybind mouse keys to the buttons. I use the upper right 3 keys as left click, number, spacebar so i can be very lazy when playing RS3 (Yes i know they keycaps are osrs, but RS3 didnt have any and I still want to support the game i've played for 20+ years). Finally switch choice - I wanted quiet switches. Previously i moved from a tactile switch to linear because of the silence of it. One of my co-workers is deeeeep in the keyboards and had a board with the Outemu switches and they are dead quiet. Very little noise at all and still have fantastic resistance. Overall, really happy with this as my first build. I absolutely love they layout and it feels amazing. Taking it to work tomorrow so i can get my co-worker's opinions on the final build! Sidenote: I have a video of me typing, but literally it was barely picked up on the mic. The switch world is crazy! If I were to do anything different, i'd have made sure to order 100+ switches for a tkl. Having only 3 left over (and 2 being damaged) was a bit too close

And i got a g915 (first gen) with the low profile keys. A keycap broke off and the only solution Logitech can offer is to buy an entire new keyboard as they do not sell keycaps for this model and there are none to buy because these are special proprietary keycaps and switches so even if you find low profile third party caps these don't clip in to the switch and will just fall off. As it is the A key it's rather important and just 4 years down the road this $180 keyboard is now scrap metal. (The tiny plastic part that broke off from where the keycap clips in fell into the switch and now the switch itself doesn't work right anymore even if I put a keycap from a less used key in its place... and the switches are soldered on of course.) Logitech is now dead to me because they don't offer any repairs or even simple keycap replacements for their most expensive RGB keyboards. This was literally the most expensive Logitech keyboard had available when it released in 2020 for $249.

pcmasterrace “Need help choosing a mouse please”

Hi all, So I'm shopping for a new mouse and have found a few models that fit the bill, but can't decide which one to go for. My choices are - 1. Razer Basilisk V3 wireless - \~£45 2. TB Kone air (either 1 or 2) - \~£70 (eBay, advertised as new but look a bit used) 3. Logitech G502 lightspeed - \~£75 4. MSI Versa Pro - \~£68 (Ebay, looks great, but apparently the software is crap and won't let you bind keyboard keys to buttons. This would be my choice until I read that. Has this changed since the reviews I read from last year?) 5. Rapoo VT350 - \~£15 (Cheap, but is it any good. What's the software like?) Basically, I do a fair bit of gaming and use blender regularly, so I'd like something with at least a couple of extra buttons beyond the standard 5. A thumb rest button would be great. A 4D scroll wheel would too, but it would have to be quite firm so I'm not accidentally hitting the side to side buttons by accident with my sausage fingers 😂. It would have to be quite a big mouse as I have largeish hands. Due to the way I hold a mouse, it would have to have the side buttons pretty far back too as I usually struggle to hit the forward button. Finally, I'm terrible for my ring finger relaxing when I'm tired (which happens a lot) and accidentally clicking the right button so something with a pretty stiff click there would be great. So, which of those looks the best? Is there another mouse I'm missing? I have a budget of about £75. I know it's a lot to ask, but if anyone could offer advice or recommend something that would fit the bill, I'll gladly name my first born child after you 😉 Thanks.

keyboards “Help Deciding on Keyboard”

Hi, I'm stuck in the loop of trying to decide what pre-built I want to buy. I will be using it for mostly gaming (league of legends, deadlock, single player games) and some school work. From the research I've done the options I'm considering are the hex80, iqunix ez80, wooting 80he PCB with tikken switchs and gt80 case, crush 80 reboot pro, chilkey slice75he. I really like the 80%/TKL layout, but am open to 75% boards if they are good for what I'm looking for. Budget wise the most I would want to spend is around 300, I want a keyboard that's gonna last me at least 5 years. I've seen a lot of debates about software and I don't forsee myself messing with a lot of settings and stuff so the software isn't as important to me. I would prefer an aluminum body from what I've seen, I don't know a lot about sound and stuff, but anything would be an improvement over the G915 I've been using since it came out. Thank you!
