KM730 Pro Gaming Wireless TKL Keyboard

First of all I have zero idea about keyboards and my budget was like 2.5k I can do 3k at most. As my hands are small (as they are supposed to be) I want a compact size keyboard for gaming purpose. Read a lot of hatred comments about Indian brands so I'm really confused if I should go for an Indian brand or not. Also, evofox is wireless and the kreo one is wired :'). Thank you.

(Reposted from my post at r/IndianGaming) I got this one at 2.4k and I know people here prefer 5k+ keyboards, know that I can't buy such expensive keyboards for my first. The description is quite self-explanatory, though I will still add a bit of explanation. This is my first Mech kb and i have been loving typing on it. Easily the best keyboard I have used. It's quite easy to make typos with the linear red switches so that's a bit of a bummer but I am already making those less and less just within a few hrs. I am intending to keep it except the two issues The former (depressed middle row) can be just a design selection but the latter (creaks when pressure applied) looks more or less a flaw. Also, might just be caused by the misaligned key placements? I am not sure. Can the owners of the evofox ronin explain if its normal or I get a replacement? Thanks.

Hey everyone, I’ve been going down the mechanical keyboard rabbit hole for the past couple of weeks and honestly I m more confused now than when I started 😅 So I thought I’d ask here. I m looking to buy my first mechanical keyboard. Budget is around 3–4k, and I want a wireless mechanical keyboard mainly for **t**yping, office work and coding. I m not into gaming, so RGB and gaming features arent really my priority. I just want a good typing feel and to experience mechanical keyboards for the first time. Layout preference: Ideally 75%, but 65% is also fine if the keyboard itself is significantly better. Another important thing: I’ll be using it with both Mac and Windows. My office work happens on a Windows machine and my personal work is on a Mac, so it would be really helpful if the keyboard allows easy switching between devices. Some keyboards I’ve come across while researching: • EvoFox Ronin Wireless • Ant Esports MK4500 Pro • EvoFox Katana S Mini • A few Redragon / Ajazz boards I saw online but not sure which ones are actually good From what I’ve read, the EvoFox Ronin wireless seems popular in this price range and people say it offers decent typing feel with features like hot-swappable switches and multiple connectivity modes. () But I m still not sure how good these are for typing and coding specifically, since most reviews focus on gaming. Also I recently joined the MKIndia Discord, and while browsing the marketplace there I saw someone mentioning a pre-launch offer for the Xtros Kream tri-mode wireless mechanical keyboard for around 4490. It’s listed as a special launch price from around ₹5440. That’s slightly above my budget, but if it’s actually a much better keyboard for the money, I could stretch a bit. A few questions for the community: 1. Are any of the keyboards I mentioned worth buying, or should I avoid them? 2. What would you recommend as the best wireless mechanical keyboard under ₹k in India? 3. For someone completely new to mechanical keyboards, which switches are better for typing/coding? 4. Is the Xtros Kream tri-mode deal around ₹4.5k actually worth stretching the budget for? Also, I m totally open to refurbished, used, or open-box keyboards if that means getting something significantly better in the same budget. Just trying to get a solid beginner keyboard without wasting money on something I’ll regret later. Would really appreciate suggestions from people here.

Update 2: Mistel's Keebhouse outlet misleadingly lists the MD600 palm rest as an accessory for the MD770. Moreover, they insist that the MD600 variant fits the MD770, despite the packaging listing separate dimensions for each board's rests. Maybe the keyboard is good, but I don't recommend Keebhouse. I'm looking for feedback on the keyboards I'm looking at and suggestions for keyboards I may have missed. Big thanks in advance for any advice! My computer usage is 60% coding, 30% general, and 10% gaming. I currently use an 80% QWERTY keyboard and a left numpad. I'm shopping in the US. I **want** these things from a split keyboard: shoulder-width typing posture, disconnecting and/or moving the right half for gaming, slight tenting, palm rests, and slightly increased thumb usage. I want to **avoid** a quest to find my perfect layout. Even if I keep QWERTY, it's possible to torment myself arranging modifiers and such. I also want to avoid a hardware project. Pre-built is ideal. I'll install switches on a hot-swap PCB if I have to, but I don't want to solder. I **don't care** about RGB (beyond lock indicators), wireless modes, or portability. I've looked at: Keychron Q11 - The price is good. - Detached palm rests are available from Keychron or a third party. - There's no purchasable tenting. Maybe I can 3D-print a solution. - The only thumb usage I can gain is remapping one of the spacebars. Dygma Raise 2 - I'll need to buy the tenting accessory. - I use the navigation cluster and arrow keys often enough that I'm reluctant to have them on a second layer. UHK 80 - Only the right USB port is usable for host connections, making it potentially annoying to move for gaming. The product page mentions a future firmware upgrade, but I don't want to buy a promise. - I can't find info about its latency. ZSA Moonlander - I think this type of keyboard will have me endlessly adjusting the layout. Same for boards like the Ergodox and the Dygma Defy. - When tenting the keyboard without the platform accessory, the palm rests articulate down, making them less useful. The thumb clusters also articulate down, making them harder to reach.
