You mean Ajazz AK820. I would go with the Akko 5075 but see if you can get the VIA version. But even the legacy version that uses the "Akko Cloud Driver" has better than average software.

Dark Project maybe? ALU81A or any of their other boards. Should be north facing with doubleshot shine-through. I'd read up on their boards, and also check their software compatibility with linux. I do not think they're VIA. Unfortunately, Akko looks like they switched to south with their new 5075B Plus. I'm running an older one with their doubleshot ASA shine-throughs, and it's been great, but the caps didn't come with the keyboard. Perhaps if you squint at your used market, but their software is also uninspired if you're sold on VIA.

keyboards “Keychron vs NuPhy for an Office Keyboard”

Right now my office keyboard on my Mac is an Akko 5075b via with Kaihl Purple Silent Elf switches. But I also switch out with a tray mounted 60% using a 1up Keyboards PI60 HSE PCB with Silent Yellow Jade. I do have a Nuphy Air60 but I think they are kind of oversold and they are moving away from open source support, meanwhile I don't care for the Keychron design language on their exploded boards. The big issue with Keychron though is the support ... but if you're getting it from Microcenter, they will stand behind their products so I don't think you need to worry too much about that. Until recently I would have suggested getting their house brand, the Inland MK Pro 75 from Microcenter, but it has been discontinued, gone on clearance, and doesn't appear to be available anymore in their stores. Any QMK board will support the Mac well.

keyboards “Looking for a 75% keyboard with this light strip”

i feel you, that light strip looks really clean. it's a pretty specific design that isn't super common on 75% boards. the one that comes closest is probably the Wooting 60HE+, but that's a 60% again. for a 75% with a similar 'accent' line, you might dig the Akko 5075B Plus - it has a nice rgb bar on the front edge. not exactly the same, but gives a similar vibe. the keychron v1 max is another solid 75% with underglow that might scratch that itch.
