VX2758A-2K-PRO-3 27 Inch QHD 240Hz IPS Panel

Going good so far. Will keep updating. Before I begin just writing up this thread so I can keep track of timeline and possibility that it will be helpful for anyone in future. As I have spare monitor I can indulge in full process and tracking of RMA. Monitor - Viewsonic 2k-Pro-3 - 1440p 240hz bought on 13th Jan 2025. Case 1 - So I had purchased this monitor last year on Amazon for around 20k it had 2 bright pixels out of the box, I had requested dor replacement on next day of delivery, the guy came checked the monitor and rejected the rma as number of pixels were under the limits. Fair play and even I forgot they even existed for a year so not an issue Case 2 (current) - 1. 17th Feb 2025 Tuesday - around 10pm I got the issue from above image while watching a movie. It was sudden, no blinking no flash it just appeared. Since it was late i thought I will call support tomorrow, but I couldn't sleep due to frustration so ended up sending mail that night, no reply/response 2. 18th Feb 2025 Wednesday - in morning I called the support on official number and explain the issue. They take all my info and generate the RMA number and I was assured that someone will get in touch in next 24-48 hours. Same day I get reply for the initial email to provide more information about me and product which I did. This generated another RMA number. 3. 20th Feb 2025 - Got no update so I call as its past 48 hours on toll free number. No one picks up ivr and then goes to music hold. Tried multiple times, idk might be rush hour for them. Then I decided to write this post. So I send followup email for rma status check and in few minutes after email I get call from F1 guys (i guess these guys handle the RMA for viewsonic). He discussed the issue and understood it was panel failure by description. So I send him pictures and he will visit today evening to check the monitor. I will edit post as I get more updates. If you have any viewsonic rma experience then please let me know.

For a Ryzen 5600 + RTX 3060, a 27″ 1440p 144–165 Hz IPS monitor under 300 € is the sweet spot. Look for lines similar to LG 27GP850‑B/27GN800‑B, ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS, Dell G2724D, or ViewSonic VX2728J‑2K

Definitely worth it, if your GPU can support it. My brother has a 480Hz monitor (the LG dual 4k/1080p one), there is very little noticeable motion blur. I cant quite get 480Hz on it on CS2. But I play other games as well. That's why I have ViewSonic XG2431 for backlight strobing. I get the motion clarity of 480Hz at 240hz.
