32 Inch Curved Gaming Monitor

I've got the sister model to your monitor which is the 27GL850b. Good monitor but showing its age. I also wanted OLED but to stick with 1440p. I do a lot of WFH so didn't want to risk it. I've since purchased a mini led monitor. Not many 1440p ones around currently so went the cheap route with a Titan Army P275MR+ to allow some better mini leds to come out and mature in price.

It would be nice to get an RTINGS-level detailed analysis comparing all 3 of the above to inform shoppers what the strengths and weaknesses are of each model. I consider all 3 of these the current best offerings for affordable 4K mini-LED monitors.

The KTC is a really excellent miniLED VA panel, but at u/FrostyNeckbeard said, the Koorui is an aggressively priced miniLED IPS. I personally choose the KTC over the Koorui, but then returned the doa KTC to buy a Acer Nitro XV275U F3, which uses the same panel as the Titan Army P275MS+, we think, and has excellent specs (and 0 reviews, so maybe I'll return it to buy *another* KTC.)

1080p is bad even native, and any dual mode is not as sharp as native. It will be pixelated and glitchy. Dual mode is a gimmick. I even tested 5k2k same thing. 1080 p native looked better than 2k on a 5k. For your reference: QHD on 27” isnt even that sharp, compared to 4k. People playing on 1080p - even on 27 dont know what they talk about. I have been playing on 27 QHD for years and started on 4k and even 5k. I thought QHD was an upgrade but it looks horrondous bad and text fringing if u know what 4k looks like. Check out titan army 4k 160 hz its 200 bucks and has dual mode. If you look for budget. Theres 360 hz QHD monitors selling for around 200-300 bucks rn. Pulsar 360 hz starts at 600. But dont buy dual mode tbh, its a gimmick
