Aorus AD27QD Gaming Monitor

After many years on console, he bought a Steam Deck and used it like a PC. I shared my Steam library with him so he could play my games. After some time, though, the Steam Deck wasn’t enough, so we wanted to build a 9800X3D PC for him. Unfortunately, he missed the train—prices went up—so we started looking for a second-hand PC instead. I hope that one day prices go down so he can build a newer PC PS: Please don’t mind the cables and the desktop. It was quite late, and I’ll visit tomorrow to clean things up and make sure the external cables look good

I have three Gigabyte Aorus FOU48 OLED monitors and an Alienware 34" OLED, but built a new watercooled Desk PC and decided to go with the LG 5K2K. I love the extra vertical real estate over traditional ultrawides and so far I'm loving it. Would love any recommendations on calibration settings, even though I think it's great out of the box.

Ever since that day, I've been super nerdy about tech and always wanted something top of the line. To build something where I don't even have to check system requirements, something I know will run no matter what game it is. Yes, I know it's overkill. Honestly, I really wanted it to be. That's how you actually "future-proof" a build. Been using this flagship system for over 4 months now and here are my 2 cents. Coming from a GTX 750 Ti, the performance jump is absolutely insane - we're talking about a 900%+ increase in raw performance. Finally finished my dream build after months of planning and saving. The 9950X3D paired with the RTX 5090 handles everything I throw at it, making it a truly heavenly combo. Cable management in the O11 Dynamic EVO XL was surprisingly easy, and the wireless Lian Li fans keep everything clean. Nine fans total keeps temps under 70C even under load, and it's quieter than I expected. The Gigabyte FO32U2P OLED monitor is perfect for this setup. Colors are super-duper incredible and response time is almost instant. Games look and feel life-like on this monitor. I paired it with my soundbar because I truly think good audio is the real game changer, it takes your experience to the next level. The Maono PD200X on a low profile boom arm sounds way better than any headset mic, I've plans to buy an IEM later on in 2026. The Xraypad mousepad combined with GPX SL2 DEX gives consistent tracking, and Mchose GX87 Ultra especially fits my sound profile liking - marbly and sounds full because of the full aluminium body. I want that sapphire too because of its aesthetics but switch to gigabyte aorus. My problem is its hard to sync the RGB on the gpu. Do you experience the same? I have full rog setup and i am using signal rgb to sync rgb, but its hard to sync on the gpu.
