“… [truncated] … that VRR can be unlocked and the HDR pop up appears in every game. I’ve been getting 90-120fps on games like Horizon Forbidden West, Days Gone, Uncharted 4, TLOU1. This is at 4K fidelity setting btw. So for gameplay it’s great!”

battlestations “What would u guys add or change?”

Hey, I posted my setup here a few months ago already. Back then it was about switching to a stacked setup, and I’ve been really happy with it ever since and still am. Now just a few small updates to make it even more comfortable at my desk. I upgraded my mic stand so there’s less clutter on the desk, added a small custom monitor mount from a 3D printer, and my biggest update is switching from the BenQ ScreenBar Halo to the newer BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2. The brighter backlight on the Halo 2 is way more comfortable for the eyes, and I really like that you can control backlight and front light separately. My usual settings are around 2700K for the backlight at about 6 to 10 percent and the front light at around 10 to 15 percent. I use my setup about 70 percent for work and 30 percent for gaming. The smaller monitor is mostly just for documentation or quick browsing, so there’s not much neck movement and even after more than a year I still have no issues. What I’m using: BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2 Samsung OLED G8 UPERFECT 3K OLED Insta360 Link 2 Fifine Mic Audioengine A2+ Keychron Q1 Max Logitech G Pro X Superlight Logitech MX Master 4 CalDigit TS4

Just bought BenQ EW270Q monitor a week ago and already facing backlight bleed issues - a dark black shadow appearing on the screen after just a few hours of normal use. No physical damage, no mishandling, straight out of the box defect. Contacted BenQ India for a refund and they completely refused, citing policies that don't even exist on their own website. After sales service is extremely disappointing. Expected much better from a brand like BenQ. Think twice before buying directly from BenQ India's website.

adhd_programmers “Best Monitor for Programming in 2026? (Price, Display, Clarity)”

I'm moving to a new place and I want to make a cool programming setup for myself. I've been using a single monitor for a while and I think it's time to get some better tech. I was thinking of getting 3 monitors in total - all of them 1440p, 2 vertical on the sides and 1 horizontal in the middle. Another option would be an ultrawide on the left and a vertical monitor on the right. How do your setups look guys? Opinion on vertical vs horizontal monitors? Optimal monitor count? Show me those bad boys on your desk.. **Edit:** I ended up going for the [**BenQ RD320U**](https://share.google/yXrle59KkvTNixGtD) as my main programming monitor. It's BenQ's monitor specifically made for programming and has some really cool perks and a very high pixel density (for good coding experience). It's been really good on my eyes so far.

benq “What the heck BenQ India?”

Bought a BenQ EW270Q directly from BenQ India's official website. Received it on June 6. Used it for the first time on June 8 for 3-4 hours and a dark black shadow appeared on the screen out of nowhere. Zero physical damage, zero mishandling. Brand new unit, defective straight out of the box. I contacted BenQ support immediately requesting a full refund under their 7-day return policy. Here's what happened: \- First they said they can only register a replacement, not a refund \- I pushed back citing their own 7-day return policy Then they said "open-box returns are not accepted" \- I checked their own official Shopping FAQ on benq.com and there is ZERO mention of open-box returns being rejected anywhere \- Their own policy clearly says any product can be returned within 7 days in original packaging... which I have So they are literally making up policies on the spot to avoid giving me a refund on a defective product that failed within 48 hours of first use. On "original packaging" policy: How am I supposed to test a monitor without opening the box? Should I just order it, never open it, and return it sealed? That defeats the entire purpose of a 7-day return policy. I opened it, found a defect, repacked everything, and asked for a refund. That's exactly what the policy is for. Why refund not replacement?: My experience has been so bad that I've completely lost confidence in BenQ. I don't want to continue with this brand anymore. Has anyone dealt with BenQ India support before? Is this normal? What's my best course of action here?

monitors “Any happy 32" 4k high refresh rate IPS programmers?”

I'm at a loss looking for an all-round monitor for my office. Usage is 80% programming, 20% gaming (casual Dota 2, WoW). Any recommendations that check all the boxes? Seems only a few match these and all of them have some pretty bad reviews or some drawbacks. \- 32" 4k \- 160hz+ (might do with 140, but not less) \- IPS \- good response times / no blurrines \- flicker free, eyesight protection, no PWM \- no smart features/custom os bullshit \- available in Czech republic Currently, I'm running two Dell S2721DGFA, which I find amazing. Not really using the secondary one and would like a PPI bump. Current shortlist: ASUS ROG Strix XG32UCG - top pick so far, but it's not in stock currently Dell UltraSharp U3225QE - only 120hz and there seems to be color problems regarding white/yellow BenQ PD3226G - 144hz only, there seems to be a lot of negative reviews in regards to QC and parts of display dying Dell G3223Q - not being sold anymore, would have to go to 2nd hand market AOC U32G4U - unsure about build quality MSI MAG 322URDF E16 - unsure about build quality as well
