    supplements “Protein Power Recommendations”
I’ve been using the same protein powder for almost 10 years now and I’ve recently got a lot more serious about the quality and ingredients of my supplements. So now I’m looking to see if there are better options out there and what to look for. I’m currently taking Animal Whey (pictured). I take it every day in a smoothie as my lunch. I originally chose it for its macro and amino profile, but now I’m worried about purity, quality of ingredients and additives. I’d love suggestions of protein powders based on the following criteria: 1. Quality/Purity. This one is most important, if I’m taking it every day it needs to be safe and free from even trace contamination. 2. Ingredients. Second most important, I’m trying to avoid endocrine disrupters and artificial ingredients that may cause inflammation or other issues. 3. Macro/Amino profile. If the quality is good and the ingredients are “clean” then the balance of protein to fats and carbs is the next consideration. I prefer the highest protein to carb and fat ratio possible within reason. 4. Taste. This is least important since I’ll be blending it in a smoothie, but obviously if I’m going to drink it every day I’d like it to taste good. What do you guys recommend?
