Try 'only what's needed' probably the most transparent and also affordable compared to others.”

fitness_india “bought protein powder for the first time…decided to try only what’s needed by foodpharmer”
Had no clue what brand to start with as it was my first time buying a protein powder, so i did some market research. Came across many threads over here for nakpro, OWN, muscleblaze, TWT…thoroughly read all the reviews and out of all them, OWNs reviews looked great, I watch this creator food pharmer’s reels too so was hoping this better be good First of all, the packaging itself is good without any unnecessary designing just straight to the point, so right here the authenticity factor comes in (apart from the fact that it goes through several lab tests) and he actually stood by his transparency word, saw the trustified video too. It’s taste? tasted okayish in the beginning but luckily it’s coffee flavor so my friend told me it’s much more tolerable than cocoa one. It’s been 2 weeks since I started having it, so now it pretty much tastes like coffee itself No digestion or bloating issues yet \*touchwood\* even tho i tried a protein powder for the first time in my existence, so that’s a good thing i’d say In whole it’s easy to make like it mixes quickly and is light to drink, I think i’m liking this product so far….was adjusting at the beginning with taste but now it’s fine. Also, i dont have any knowledge abt the amino acid thing so pls enlighten me on any more stuff i need to know :)

fitness_india “[Help] Total beginner (25M) - Never hit a gym or used supplements. How do I start with 0 knowledge?”
Note: I’m not a native English speaker, so I used an AI to help me structure this post and make my points clear. Hi everyone, I’m a complete newbie looking for some "Fitness 101" guidance. I’ve never stepped foot inside a gym and have never touched protein powder. I come from a family where no one is really health-conscious and supplements aren't common, so I’m a bit lost! My Current Situation: Stats: 25M | 176 cm | 80 kg. Daily Routine: Student life. I sit for 7–8 hours a day studying for exams. Activity: I do not do any exercise and have never been to any sort of gym. I just walk 6k–10k steps daily. Diet: I am non-vegetarian, but my daily diet is mostly vegetarian. * The Protein Gap: I currently only manage to hit 40–50g of protein daily. My goal is 90g, but I cannot stand the taste of boiled eggs, which makes reaching that target feel impossible. My Main Doubts: What actually is protein powder? Is it just food, or are there adverse health effects for a total beginner who doesn't even work out? Do I really need it? Can I jump from 50g to 90g protein with whole foods alone without eating boiled eggs? The "Gym" Factor: Is it a waste to take protein if I don't go to the gym? Is it necessary to do some specific activity if I start taking it? Digestion: Since I sit all day, will protein shakes cause bloating or issues? Brand Check: I’ve heard positive things about the Food Pharmer brand, but it’s the only one I know. Is it actually high quality? Are there other brands you suggest that are budget-friendly? Weight Loss/Milk: Losing 4-5 kg would be great. Can I take protein with milk, or will that stop weight loss? I am open to any questions or advice you have. Please keep the explanations simple—I'm learning from scratch! Sorry if few of my questions feel dumb but please help me :)

fitness_india “Which protein supplement to get as a beginner”
Am a beginner and it's been 20 days since I joined gym, I tried Only What's Needed Whey protein and I cannot say how good or bad it is as it was my first whey protein supplement. But one thing is, it does not taste very good to me for everyday drinking purpose and many times I feel like am full or I will throw up after drinking it (there's a high chance the problem is in me) So am here to ask which Whey protein would be the better or the best for me according to you and your experience. **My budget**: not more than 3000-4000 per kg Is Avvtar a good option?
