    gopro “Best Budget Underwater Cam”
Hey, to answer your question though, I think the Akaso EK7000 Pro is a great budget option. I think it's around $100. If you want to, you can look up my YouTube channel, same name as my username here, my most viewed video was using that camera. It doesn't have many bells and whistles, but has good battery life and footage just looks great underwater. Hope that helps!

motorcyclegear “Action cams most recommended on Reddit - for motovlogging vs long distance touring. Based on 880 posts in the past year (Mar 2026)”
Cool. I have an Akaso EK7000 4K, and use a Sony ICDPX470 for audio. Low light it's not too good, battery life could be better but i think that's normal for these things if you have them connected to your Bluetooth or wi-fi

actioncam “Budget action cam for running — need ultra-smooth stabilization (4K60 or 1080p60) under ~$70. Is this realistic?”
I have an Akaso EK7000 Pro. Bought it to see if I would really use an action cam or if it was just a fad. Turns out I used it a lot. Stabilization on the camera was only so-so. Even when walking, stabilization was not great. Here's a video of a walking tour and the first two or three minutes are enough to give you an idea of the stability: [https://youtu.be/kRqFpO1e9jk](https://youtu.be/kRqFpO1e9jk) I now have a DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. Here's a video of a recent walking tour. The difference is very obvious: [https://youtu.be/5mkIEFoYqBQ](https://youtu.be/5mkIEFoYqBQ) I am a runner. There's no way you will get "buttery smooth." I have used and prefer a neck (not chest) mount, but that has its own challenges, such as having to control the camera and keeping the mount from shifting and skewing the video on an angle. Chest mounts with straps are annoying while running. The Osmo has Horizon Balance and Horizon Steady stabilization that take care of the camera shifting and the voice commands let me start and stop the camera hands free. You won't get any of that on a budget camera. Running with the Akaso was so bad that I just gave up. If you spend $70 on a budget camera, you will just feel like you wasted money. Up your budget, or look at a gimbal for your S25 Ultra. Lots of gimbal choices on Amazon. Good luck!! ,

    cameras “New first buyer”
Hi all! I am looking to buy a new camera for content creation! I have only filmed on my phone so far and have never bought a camera before so I am looking for advice and recommendations please! Where: I am buying from Australia and I have a budget of maximum $1,200 all in. Condition: - I am easy with this, second hand or new is fine! Type of camera: -I am still a beginner so I’m not expecting anything fancy! I don’t know anything about lenses or types of cameras :( I’m trying to research myself too. Intend use and video style: I will be making videos on wildlife and travel (I’m a zookeeper and wildlife conservationist) in Australia, Asia and then South America (mostly there). It will be a mix of vlogging and my partner filming. My must haves: - A solid microphone or an easy way to attach one with a microphone that fits in my budget. I’ll be doing narrated videos so a good mic is a must must have. - The ability to film well in low light or darkness (I’ve seen some cameras don’t have a built in flash?!) I will be doing a lot of filming during night walks in the rainforest. - Easy to transport (I’ll be backpacking so limited space) My would be nice to haves: - Longer battery life, I always carry a portable charger with me so it’s not needed but I will be spending long days with the camera so being able to film over longer periods would be great! - Easy ways to upload onto my phone or computer. - Under water filming ability Portability: Either compact or small, should fit into a 15L backpack with ease. I’ve been recommended/considering: - Sony makes: ZV-E10 Mirrorless camera, ZV-1 ll vlog camera, ZV-1F Vlog camera - Panasonic LUMIX TZ80-90 - Canon PowerShot V1 At the moment I only use the camera on: - IPhone 14 pro -IPhone 12 - Akaso EK7000 (used for filming underwater but just isn’t what I am looking for at all) Notes: - when I’m in poor natural lighting the picture quality isn’t what I’m happy with. - the sound quality isn’t ideal iPhones or the Akaso I really appreciate any advice or recommendations! Thankyou
