actioncam “Best Action Camera for long recording”
Hey all, I need a cheap action camera that I can set up to record sports matches in a hall to review tactics and strategy. Yes I know that gopro/DJI/Insta are the best cameras, but I just need something cheap that I can give to someone to setup and record about 70mins of video (also a powerbank battery backup is possible). 4K quality would be nice so I can zoom in a little bit but it doesn't have to be the best 4K quality in the world. Long recording ability without shutting down due to overheating or whatever is utmost importance. Which budget action cameras could do this around 120USD? I was thinking of the Akaso v50x but there are probably tonnes more out there so what would you reccommend?

actioncam “Are budget action cameras worth it as a GoPro alternative for family memories?”
Title: Are budget action cameras worth it as a GoPro alternative for family memories? Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking about getting an action camera mainly to record special moments with my kids and my wife during vacations, trips, water parks, beach days, etc. I’m not trying to do professional videos or anything like that—just capture fun memories and maybe put together little family videos later. GoPro looks amazing, but it’s pretty expensive, and I’m wondering if something cheaper could still do the job well enough. I’ve been looking at some budget options like AKASO cameras (for example the Brave 7 LE or similar models). My main goal would be: • Recording family vacations • Water parks and pool days with the kids • Trips like Disney, Legoland, cruises, etc. • Just capturing fun candid moments without worrying too much about the camera getting wet or damaged I’d probably mount it on a chest mount or small stick so I can record hands-free while still enjoying the moment with my family. For people who have used budget action cameras: • Are they actually worth it? • Is the video quality good enough for family memories? • Do you regret not buying a GoPro instead? I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences before I buy one. Thanks!

cycling “Which budget camera should I buy to record my rides ? For security reasons.”
Think about where you will mount it. If you mount to the bars you may surprise yourself how much the bars move side to side when you think it’s straight! The head tube is better but maybe chest or helmet are best? FWIW Akaso cameras are cheap and effective and you get a load of fittings thrown in. similar to GoPro for footprint and mounting hardware

actioncam “First action camera for cycling”
Hi all, I am thinking to buy an action camera to capture some moments (short videos), combined with my metrics (power, speed, heart rate). I do only road cycling, which means I don't do any jumps, wheelies and stuff which I assume need an improved stabilisation. I am not sure how much will I use it, so I think that a quality budget cam would be the right choice. By "quality budget" I mean, according to what I read, something like Akaso or SJcam around 60 to 100 euros cost. If I like the whole capturing and editing I am not negative in later upgrade to something more "professional", so I am thinking this purchase would be something like an introduction in action cameras world. So, what do you think? Anything else to propose to my thoughts, camera brand or models etc? Thank you in advance!

diving “Need Camera Set up advice”
I have an Akaso brave 7le that does the job quite well. I have it mounted above my tg6, start it when i submerge, stop when i surface. I get almost 3 hours 4k video on a 64gb card, unfortunately my color correction reverts the video to 1080p, but it looks great. A video light makes a big difference too. I use an inexpensive light from amazon. Honestly i think most of the budget action cameras are pretty similar in quality. When you get to the DJI and latest gopro you might be getting a better finished product, but the big thing is make sure your housing stays dry and your lights work. Have fun!
