    garmin “VO2Max Crash”
The VO2 Max calculator on a Garmin is just a sort of chart of pace vs heart rate and nothing else. It’s not a real measure of your VO2 Max. Clearly since it dropped since you added back your easy runs that is the reason it has changed. You increased the volume of running at slower paces your watch is using to estimate so it’s lowering it (at least that is my guess) My VO2 max went up to 54 two months ago and has slid back down to 51 despite me being more fit. I run 150 miles a month and have made significant gains in my threshold pace. When my V02 was “54” My watch estimated my threshold at 8:05/mile Now that it’s “51” it estimates a 7:20 threshold. If I’ve maintained my same volume but improved my threshold pace how can my VO2 have dropped? It’s just an estimate and I don’t really pay attention to it other than to see what it says. I don’t base anything off of it or consider either of those to be my threshold or my VO2 Back to you: Are you seeing a change in performance? Do you feel slower at the 5k distance? Trust your body and use the watch as a guide

galaxywatch “Iwatch ex-user: Help me choose a new watch”
I got tired of apple and traded my 16 pro max for a flip 7. I am changing watches but I dont know whats good deal or not. Help? For reference I work in education so I use my phone to watch notifications, timers, ask google a lot, set reminders, voice notes, commands (reminders, tasks). Healthwise, I mostly check my steps/calories/movement and if it could "track my sleep" would be great, I hated the battery of the ioswatch 9 cause I had to charge it at sleep. Galaxy Watch 6 47mm - $100 Galaxy Watch FE - $100 Galaxy watch 7 (44 mm ) - $190 Galaxy Watch 7 (40 mm) - $165 Thanks

fitness_india “Hello People, I need advice for fitness trackers.”
My budget is 10-11k, and its so hard to buy a good fitness tracker in India now- So I wanted something like whoop, no nonsense strap but fitbit air and helio strap have no signs here. Hence bands would work too, if I am going for a watch it should be a proper watch not some ODM from China. So these are my options rn- 1. Pebble Qore 2 2. Galaxy band 3 3. Huawei band 6 4. Xiaomi band 6 5. Xiaomi band 9/10 but import 6. Samsung watch 6 Lte you can suggest anything else as I am open to take recommendations- my goal is accurate step tracking and calories burt tracking. (in that order) PS- I love to wear my casio watch hence I am reluctant to shift in amaze fit bip6 etc as they are not adding any extra functionality as samsung watch.

galaxywatch “Thinking about getting a Galaxy Watch, is it worth it?”
Awhile back I used to have a fitbit but stopped using it. I was always against getting a watch that tracks my health for personal reasons but I finally gave in. About a month ago I got the galaxy watch 7 and couldn't be happier. Its sleek, light, I am able to answer calls and texts via my watch, view notifications without taking out my phone. One of the biggest reasons I ended up getting it was because my wife and I started to walking a lot and I needed to be able to track my steps without using my phone. This has improved my physical activity. I have yet to use any of the workout tracking components of the watch so not sure how affective they are. One thing I dislike is that with the steps counter is that by doing any hand or arm movements, it'll count them when I havent really walked. The battery is good, for me at least. It lasts about 2 days, with AOD off(as I prefer this setting). Go for it, you won't regret it

smartwatch “Best for OSA (spo2) tracker”
Any of them except the Samsung watches should be accurate. I have a Samsung watch 6 and the spo2 measurement is decent but not very accurate. You need to have it really high up on your wrist for an accurate reading which isn't very convenient. Also, even on Samsung's newer watches, the sensors are still not as good as other competitors.
