“Sennheiser momentum true wireless 4 have 3 sizes of wing tips and fit me snugly, along with incredible sound. az100s, although they don't have wintips, are light and small and stay put quite well for me.”

“It's hard to beat the Sennheiser Momentum 3 & 4. Both have outstanding sound quality, especially when you use the Sound Personalization option. The only earbuds that have better sound quality, imo are the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, even though they're dated by today's standards.”

    iems “Iems cherry popped”
After developing an allergy to methacrylates and acrylates, it’s been a frustrating and expensive journey to find a good pair of in-ear headphones. I really thought I’d found them with the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 earbuds. While they didn’t cause any irritation, the performance was not what I expected from a brand like Sennheiser. That led to some AI research on suitable IEMs that wouldn't cause an allergic reaction, which is when I discovered the all-metal, CNC-machined Simgot EW200. At first, I thought going back to a cabled earphone experience was such a luddite move. Now? I’m completely blown away. Even pairing them with a FiiO KA11, the total cost was only £74. It’s going to be a challenge to be tethered to my phone again—wireless is a great convenience—however, the incredible sound quality I’m experiencing will be hard to turn my back on. The question now is: if a pair of £45 IEMs can sound this good... what’s next to try? And is adding a Bluetooth module the wrong path to go down?

    earbuds “MTW4 got crushed🥲💀”
MTW4 case got absolutely crushed after it fell from my pocket while driving 🥲 Luckily the buds were in my ears at the time so they survived 🙂 Yeah… bit careless from my side 💀 The charging case got destroyed though, so I ordered a replacement case from Sennheiser for ₹4,900 (\~$57). Still got around 6 months warranty left too. Honestly gotta respect Sennheiser for this. Most brands barely offer proper replacement parts, but the fact that the case is still easily buyable separately is genuinely nice. Google AI mode literally gave me the link directly Earlier this year, right around the 1 year mark, my previous Sennheiser pair suddenly died while I was using them. ANC still worked, but one earbud completely stopped playing audio for some reason. Don’t even know why honestly. Sennheiser replaced that pair under warranty though. Only thing is Sennheiser support isn’t very direct. No dedicated voice support from my experience. You basically raise a request through their portal and mail system and continue from there. Sony replacement experience on the other hand was really smooth honestly Just went to the service center, they checked it, took around a week, and gave me a brand new replacement. Sony also treated me well before, but I lost my XM4 buds while traveling 🥲 Current collection / experience so far: Sennheiser MTW4 still my favorite overall for music. The soundstage feels wider, richer, and more immersive than most TWS buds I’ve tried. Honestly gets surprisingly close to that spacious feeling you get from AirPods spatial audio, even in normal stereo music. Obviously Apple’s real spatial mixes on Apple TV are still another level, but for pure music listening the MTW4 sounds way better to me. Sony XM5 headphones amazing ANC and clean sound, but personally I feel Sony loses bass energy after around 70% volume and I don’t really like that. Same issue for me on Sony buds too honestly. Hope they improved that with XM6 because overall Sony tuning is still really good. JBL Tour Pro 3 honestly underrated. Sounds really good and has crazy convenience features. I mainly use them as a standby/work pair because of the USB transmitter/connectivity stuff. Probably even better on Android with Snapdragon features, but I’m on iPhone. AirPods Pro 2 for daily music? Decent. For Apple TV + proper spatial audio mixes? Absolute black magic. Nothing I’ve tried matches it for movies/shows. I’m basically becoming a collector at this point 🙂 Also looked at Technics AZ100 and Denon stuff but the pricing here is insane 💀 Now waiting for Sony XM6 buds and Sennheiser MTW5. Any other top tier TWS recommendations I should try next? Mainly looking for: Wide soundstage Strong bass without getting muddy Great detail for music Good reliability this time please 💀 (And yes before anyone asks why I keep buying more pairs… when my previous Sennheiser pair died I instantly bought the JBL Tour Pro 3 because I couldn’t stay without good earbuds even for a few days 🙂)

traveladvice “Best noise cancelling earbuds for travel at the moment?”
Airplane noise is a very specific kind of torture - constant low-frequency engine hum mixed with random crying and announcements. Not all ANC earbuds handle that equally well. Beyond brand hype, the real difference usually comes down to fit, passive isolation, and how the ANC adapts in flight. This is a quick list of the best options for those who don’t want to learn a long buying guide below: # Base on my experience, these are some noise cancelling earbuds worth looking at in 2026: * [Apple AirPods Pro 2 Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Apple_AirPods_Pro_2_Earbuds) * [Sony WF-1000XM5 Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Sony_WF-1000XM5_Earbuds) * [Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Bose_QuietComfort_Ultra_Earbuds) * [Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Sennheiser_Momentum_True_Wireless_4_Earbuds) * [Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Samsung_Galaxy_Buds3_Pro_Earbuds) * [Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 Wireless Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Jabra_Elite_10_Gen_2_Wireless_Earbuds) # 4 Key Factors to Consider When Choosing a noise cancelling earbud for travel **-noise cancelling performance and adaptability** Active noise cancelling (ANC) removes background noise, allowing you to immerse yourself in your music with exceptional clarity. Active noise cancellation removes up to twice the background noise, while transparency mode and adaptive audio adjust seamlessly, ensuring you can tune in to your surroundings when needed. Advanced active noise cancellation technology helps you stay focused, immersing you in your favorite tunes while blocking out distractions. Intelligent noise control and conversation awareness automatically lower the volume when you're speaking with someone, making social interactions easier. **-battery life and fast charging technology** Get up to 8 hours of listening time on a single charge, with extended total battery life when using the charging case. Experience up to 32 hours of total battery life, including multiple full charges from the compact charging case. Even with active noise cancelling engaged, you get extended playtime throughout the day. Fast charge technology provides additional hours of playback from just a short charging time, ensuring you are never without your music. **-durability and water resistance** Sweat- and water-resistant designs with IPX4 ratings make these earbuds suitable for unpredictable weather and active travel days. IP54 dust-, sweat-, and water-resistant construction offers durability for various environments. Higher waterproof ratings, such as IP66 or IPX7, provide additional protection against sweat and rain, making them reliable for outdoor activities and movement. Ergonomic designs and secure fits ensure stability and comfort during long trips or active use. **-smart features and user support technology** Personalized spatial audio adapts sound to your unique ear shape, creating an immersive listening environment. Voice isolation keeps calls clear, even in noisy surroundings. Multi-point technology allows seamless switching between two connected devices, improving convenience during travel. Touch controls, voice assistant integration, and automatic pairing enhance ease of use without needing to handle your device frequently. Built-in microphones and advanced Bluetooth technology provide stable connections and reliable call quality wherever you are. The good news is that current top-tier models are already extremely capable for flights - you don’t necessarily need to wait for the next release unless you want the latest features. Prioritize fit, comfort, and reliable ANC over marketing claims

earbuds “What are the Best Noise Cancelling Earbuds people actually use daily?”
With so many ANC earbuds out there, it’s honestly hard to tell what’s actually worth using daily vs what’s just hype. If you’re commuting, working in cafés, or traveling, a good pair can make a huge difference. This is a quick list of the best options for those who don’t want to learn a long buying guide below: # Base on my experience, these are some Noise Cancelling Earbuds worth looking at in 2026:  * [Apple AirPods Pro 2 Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Apple_AirPods_Pro_2_Earbuds) * [Sony WF-1000XM5 Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Sony_WF-1000XM5_Earbuds) * [Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Bose_QuietComfort_Ultra_Earbuds) * [Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Sennheiser_Momentum_True_Wireless_4_Earbuds) * [Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Samsung_Galaxy_Buds3_Pro_Earbuds) * [Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 Wireless Earbuds](https://astonmet.com/noise-cancelling-earbuds/#Jabra_Elite_10_Gen_2_Wireless_Earbuds) # Here are a few key things that actually matter when choosing one: **-identify the type of noise you need to block the most** The best noise-cancelling earbuds attenuate noise across the whole frequency spectrum. From the low rumbles of a train engine to the high-pitched whirring of a nearby fan, even sharp sounds like car horns will be greatly reduced in level. However, some earbuds are better at handling low-end noise like rumbly engines and airplane sounds, while others isolate more effectively in the treble, such as crying babies or high-pitched background noise. Overall, performance can vary depending on how the earbuds combine active noise cancellation and passive isolation from ear tips. **-consider battery life for daily commuting and long usage** With ANC on, some earbuds can last over 12 hours on a single charge, while others offer closer to 7–9 hours. Their carrying cases usually provide additional charges, extending total usage throughout the day. As a result, some models offer longer battery life than others when using ANC with continuous playback. While longer battery life is ideal, slightly shorter performance can still be a worthwhile trade-off if the price is lower or the overall features better suit your needs. **-compatibility with your ecosystem and devices** Some earbuds offer wide connectivity options, supporting multi-device pairing and high-quality codecs for better audio streaming. However, certain features are only available within specific ecosystems. These can include spatial audio, adaptive EQ, or seamless pairing across devices, which may only work fully with particular operating systems. In contrast, other options are more flexible and work well across both Android and iOS, allowing you to customize sound and settings through companion apps regardless of your device. **-comfort and fit for long-term use** Comfort plays a major role in daily usability. Some earbuds have a deeper in-ear fit, which can feel secure but may be uncomfortable for some users, while others have a smaller, lightweight design that ensures a more comfortable fit for long periods, especially for smaller ears. A snug fit helps with stability and prevents the earbuds from falling out, while also improving noise isolation. However, some users may not like the suction effect created by in-ear designs. If the fit is looser, the earbuds may feel more comfortable but won't block out noise as effectively due to the lack of a proper seal. Investing in the right pair of noise-cancelling earbuds is one of the best ways to reclaim your focus and enjoy your personal space every day.
