I usually get downvoted for recommending these but take a look at the Sennheiser HD599SE, cheap, around (100€ on sale) comfortable, easy to drive and with a pleasant sound profile To me these sound natural with voices sounding like voices a piano sounds like a piano. the downside might be the narrow soundstage which makes them sound rather center focused I have the HD560S aswell as the Phillips X2HR but the 599's i usually come back to because of how comfortable and easy listening they are The 560S is very flat and neutral and the X2HR is v shaped with stronger bass and higher highs, but these are two alternatives if you can stretch your budget a bit perhaps or find them on the used market All of these are open backs like the 9500 you mentioned

earbuds “looking for a new pair of earbuds”

im on my second pair of sennheiser accentum tws since march 2025, and they broke again a few days ago. my first pair lasted about 9 months. ive been searching for a new pair of earbuds, highest im willing to go is about $250 AUD. i really loved the anc on the accentums, they fit my ears really well and the sound was awesome. i just want a pair that lasts longer, if thats something i can get for this price range. its hard to even say what part of these earbuds i would sacrifice for something that lasts longer though, i love em a lot (when they work of course) im aware that no pair of earbuds is gonna last my entire life, just wondering if its worth it to keep replacing these accentums or search for something else ill be more likely to get a couple years out of rather than months :( i would occasionally fall asleep on my side with the accentums in though and im wondering how much of an impact that may have had on their lifespan?? i really love everything about them except how long they last so if theres anything i can do to make them last longer, i would appreciate some advice in that respect as well haha ive seen a lot of love for bose quietcomfort earbuds, but i also feel like every bit of praise a pair of earbuds gets, it also has like five people warning you to never buy them 😭 thank you all in advance for the advice 💙💙

Hi guys I have Sony overhead xm5 for pc and some daily drive recently I am looking for earbuds bud couldn’t find the right one. Recommend getting a standalone mic. It’ll open up your options a lot more and the quality will be much better for both the mic and the iems. I use the sennheiser ie200 since they are super light and comfy. Budget version of my ie600s and I’ve never had a complaint with soundstage or audio quality. Prefer gaming with them over and gaming headset or even my open back headphones

earbuds “Best option for non-AirPod shaped earbuds”

Sony WF-C710N Noise cancelling, very good battery life (~8 hours), reliable, has a unique transparent blue color available if that appeals to you (in addition to black or white), and good sound that gets even better with some EQ tweaking in the app. Usually on sale for about $90. If it’s more, just wait a week or two. I’d also recommend spending another $10 or so for some foam eartips if the included silicone ones don’t stay in or are uncomfortable. For something with even better sound, you might also want to price check the Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless, Technics AZ80, and Bose Quiet Comfort, although all of them will be over $100 even for a great deal.
