the jabra elite active 7/8s or the beats fit pro. both handle sweat really well (i’m the same, just constant face sweat at the gym) and they actually stay in place. the beats have that little wing that locks them in your ear so they don’t fall out during burpees or whatever. jabra’s more subtle and don’t stick out much. both have decent noise cancelling, but you’ll still hear traffic if you run outside. over ears are def comfy for some, but yeah, too hot and bulky for my taste. i’d also suggest going to review sites like reddit vetted because that helped me decide which ones not to get aka andom no-name brands that promise IPX8 or whatever but die after a month

I am looking to purchase a pair of over the ear headphones for the ANC and sound quality. - primarily for noise cancellation while reading, gaming and sound quality (I like bass) I currently have Jabra Elite 10 gen 2 earbuds, and while they have pretty good anc, I know Bose is a lot better. The problem is I can’t decide between the gen 1 for $300 and the gen 2 for $400? I feel like the usb-c lossless audio would be pretty good for gaming, but I also read that the microphone is disabled with lossless audio wired mode enabled which kind of defeats the purpose for me. I love to read and have young children and would be utilizing the ANC to reduce noise while I’m reading. Which should I get? Gen 1 for $300? Or pay the extra $100 for the gen 2?
