As someone who isn't a hardcore audiophile, I've found the Shokz OpenFit 2+ to be a total game-changer. For me, it's all about being able to hear my surroundings and having something comfortable enough to wear all day, and these absolutely nail it without making me feel like I'm sacrificing good sound. When I put them up against the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, I was really surprised by how well the OpenFit 2+ performed, especially with bass. For an open-ear design, the low-end is really solid and has a nice punch, which is something I find is often missing with this style of earbud. Honestly, for my everyday listening, the bass is a huge feature and easily rivals what I've heard from the Bose. The new case now has wireless charging, which is super convenient. It is a few millimeters bigger than the old OpenFit 2 case to accommodate it, but that's a trade-off I'm happy to make for the convenience of just dropping it on a charger. One of the big new features is Dolby Atmos, and it definitely makes a difference. When I'm listening to music, it really opens up the soundstage and makes everything feel more immersive and atmospheric, like the sound is all around me. I did find that for audiobooks, it's a bit much; the wider sound can be distracting when I just want to focus on the narrator's voice, so I usually turn it off for that. The best part, though, might be how they feel. They're so incredibly lightweight that there are times I've had to actually check if I'm still wearing them. I also love that Shokz gave us both push buttons and touch controls. The physical buttons are perfect for reliably playing, pausing, skipping tracks, or adjusting the volume without any accidental taps. The touch control is still there, too—a simple long press brings up my phone's voice assistant. Call quality has been another standout feature. Everyone I've talked to says my voice comes through incredibly clearly. The earbuds have this AI-powered noise-canceling feature that's just for calls, and it does an amazing job of filtering out background noise so my voice is front and center. I haven't been in a super loud environment to really push it to its limits, but so far, it's been flawless. And finally, the battery life is just ridiculously amazing. I can go for hours and hours on a single charge, and the case holds so much extra power that I've gone days without even thinking about plugging it in. The OpenFit 2+ has become my go-to for everything from workouts to just wearing around the house all day.

headphones “Open-ear clip earbuds(my experience so far)”

Owned a bunch of Bose stuff over the years, QC Ultra Earbuds, QC Earbuds, QuietComfort Ultra Headphones. I bought the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds before and returned them after about three days. I actually liked the sound, but the Bluetooth drops got annoying fast. Could’ve been a bad unit, but I’ve had that same connection problem with a few Bose products before. Ended up buying the Baseus XC1 after seeing an ad, mostly out of curiosity. I like Bose’s tuning, especially the warmer bass, and the XC1 sounded more familiar than I expected for an open-ear clip bud. The connection has also been fine for me so far, which was the part I was more worried about. Not an audiophile take, just casual use. For working or walking around, they’ve been pretty good so far.

Hello! I would like to buy open-ear earbuds, and I would appreciate your advice! I would like to use them in the office (open space), so I would like to not disturb anyone, and I would like for them to be very comfortable! I looked into Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, Huawei FreeClip 2, and Shokz OpenDots One, and liked all of them! Do you recommend any of these, or others? Thanks and have a great day!

Breakdown on the things I like and I don’t like by each wireless earbuds brand AirPods Pro 2nd Generation What I Like About them : I Like The ANC And 6 Hour Battery Life plus 30 hour with the charging case What I hate about the AirPods Pro 2 : anytime i would clean up leafs 🍂 they would fall so there’s that or when im laying down and not sweating they would still fall Beats Studio Buds What I Like About Them : I Do Like Them Better Than the AirPods Pro because they won’t fall out my ears even if sweating so much or when running a couple miles What I hate about the Beats Studio buds : that even if I leave them charging them over night battery seems full but when I am about to start mowing all of a sudden both the buds and case went from being fully charged to now only having 10% What I Like About The Skull Candy Dime Two’s : They Have Good Sound Quality And Are They Are Not On The Pricey Side Like AirPods, Beats, And Bose What I Dislike About the Skull Candy Dime Two’s : They Don’t have the active ANC Which I Am Fucking Obsessed With Bose Ultra Open Earbuds What I Like About Them : Design Looks Pretty Interesting That makes them look like Ear Rings but at the same time I’d say it was a pretty interesting idea to make open earbuds to hear our surroundings What I dislike about them : that the earbuds don’t have ANC and that they are on the pricey side What I love about the AirPods First Generation : best audio quality What I dislike about the AirPods 1st generation : they where missing the ANC and looked goofy

headphoneadvice “need help deciding open ear earbuds”

Hello!!!! For a few weeks I've been watching reviews on open-ear earbuds, and from what I've seen they would be exactly what I need. I want earbuds that I would be able to wear all day at the office to answer calls and listen to some music or podcasts while also being aware of my surroundings in case anyone needs my help. I have some money allocated from my work benefits to buy a pair of earbuds, but I can only buy them from a specific store. So from the information I've gathered, these would be my options: \- Huawei Freeclip 2 \- SHOKZ Opendots 1 \- Sony Linkbuds clip \- Bose Ultra Open I need earbuds with a good call quality for work related calls and calls in general, and I do not want to compromise too much on audio quality (although I am aware that with open ear earbuds you cannot achieve the same quality as with over ear for example). And conformable enough that i could wear them almost all day. As for comfort and call quality I heard great things about the huawei freeclip 2, don't know much about the other three, besides that shokz is considered to have maybe a better bass than the freeclip 2. Can you help me decide which one would be best for my use case? Thank you :)
