Solo Buds

Hi! I am looking for a brand new pair of headphones as the ones I’ve been using before just died on me :( I use my headphones a lot, for music and watching videos, but most importantly I use them for calls for my D&D sessions. Unfortunately we’re all online right now so I need something with a good mic, and good sound quality. I was using Bluetooth headphones before, so if I could get another pair of those, that would be great, but wired is totally fine. I never thought of getting a headset before, but I would be open to those suggestions if they fit my criteria! **Budget and location** \- I think the absolute most I’m willing to spend would be $250 to $300. I’m also located in the United States! **Source/Amp** \- I would be plugging them into a laptop, tablet and phone! I have an iPhone, so unfortunately I would need to use the little headphone adapter thing to plus into my phone. **How will the gear be used?** \- Just for home listening and for calls! Noise cancellation would be nice, but I don’t need a crazy amount. **Preferred tonal balance** \- I will be completely honest and say I have no idea what this is! I am hard of hearing, so I don’t always pick up on specific tones and what not, so I’ve never had a preference. So balanced I suppose? **Preferred music genres** \- I listen to a lot of indie rock and pop! My music taste is pretty broad, but those are the most relevant two. **Past gear experience** \- The headphones that just broke were a pair of Beats Solos 3. I liked that they were over the ear, Bluetooth, and had some noise cancellation. But the microphone wasn’t always reliable, and you could hear my music through them. Which I think just happens at louder volumes but once again, hard of hearing. Before that I used Skullcandy wired earbuds. They were always fine, but the microphone on the wire wasn’t very reliable either! **Anything else?** \- Right now I’m using a pair of JLab GO Pop+ They are just okay. Not very good for calls honestly and they’re kinda my last resort when I don’t have anything else. As I said, Bluetooth would be nice, but I don’t mind wired either! I’m not at all savvy with this sort of thing, but I do try to make sure my products last me a while. I’m trying to build my savings and I don’t want to make an uninformed purchase only to regret it and have spent $100+ on some that’s not very good. Thank you so much for your help!

After a long relationship with beats solo buds which I somehow managed to lose, I am now looking for a new champion. After spending hours scouring this form. I keep reverting back to the same two. Tozo NC9 vs Samsung earbuds pro 2. I am looking for something that is: \- < £50 \- All rounder , more focus on ANC and Bass \- Happy with used or new. \-Prefer winged tips. Not a fan of stems. Anyone have any other recommended/which one I should go for between these two? edit: I use Samsung S25U

These 3 earbuds don't support hi res audio + I've read some mixed reviews of Sony WF-C710N here on Reddit and im kinda confused. Does hi res audio support necessarily mean short battery lifespan and vice versa? Btw, I've heard that beats solo buds might be long lasting in terms of battery, but they don't have anc and hi res audio+ they might work not so well with android

do u have a history of earbuds dying on u in 2 months ?? Also u cry about the Bose QC being too expensive for u but u consider the JBL which basically cost the same so which is it?? Can u afford it or not ?? And which airpods are u referring to?? The AP 3/4 w or w/ ANC, the APP1, 2 or 3?? If u'r looking for the best battery, maybe u should tell us first how long u intend to listen to them for at once! Do u listen to ur earbuds for 5hrs straight?? 8, 10??? Get the Beats Solo buds: 18hrs straight on the buds themselves!, built like a tank and also sound like one... Hope u like tanks!

I own all of the nothing ear products as well as those mentioned by OP. Ans I must the Ear 3 build quality is the strongest of them with 0 battery glitches in 6 months(I can't say the same about the previous gen). Plus the case metallic and functional with the integrated super mic. However sound wise the ear 2024 sound best imo. I stopped buying those $200+ earbuds ever since I found out that the ~$100 earbuds can come really really close. If u don't really care about ANC or Transparency like myself and OP, I don't see a single good reason to spending $200+ on earbuds unless u got it like that. I just got the buds solo by beats by dre(Apple really) delivered in 3h for just $60 and I can't believe the sound quality they're able to output. Clearly rivaling with my ear 2024. But it's only in terms of sound. Everything else is much better on the Nothing's tho'. I must say the solo buds only lost 10% in 3hr of non stop use. Impressive!! I plan on trying the Sony 710 next .
