neutraliems “What is the best budget IEMs with no filter clogging in 2026?”Do you mean earwax clogging? If so, there's an easy way to stop that. If it's just general build up, look at the TRN Conch, it's an excellent budget iem that has removable filters that you can take out and clean if necessary.

I have a number of KZ IEMs and I use TRN T-Tips on all of them. The downside of T-Tips is there's no multipack, but they're so cheap you can actually just buy a few packs to get the different sizes and it's still cheaper than a lot of tips. Despite being so cheap they're one of the best tips you can get. And KZs seem to be very tip-insensitive, so I just always use them because they're super comfortable, and they don't cost more than the IEM.

Just for IEMs a simple small dongle DAC is fine, but you don't get PEQ or on-DAC volume control, which both are features I use. I guess audio quality wise a "bigger DAC" doesn't offer much compared to a decent cheap 3.5mm dongle, but the extra power output can be useful if you use or intend to use also headphones with it. And those are valid reasons to make a purchase decision even if using 3.5mm. TRN Black Pearl can be ordered quite cheaply from China especially when discounted, so I'm not sure if local prices are really that relevant for most.
