T2 DLC Wired IEM

Hello, I have been using the Truthear x Crinacle Zero Red for almost a year already, I have loved it but i'm ready to move on. To give a bit of a back story, I have had 5 IEMs in my journey so far with the zero reds being the ones I held longest, I have in chronological order: Moondrop Chu Tangzu Wan'er Moondrop Chu 2 KZ Castor Truthear x Crinacle Zero Red After going back to my previous pair, KZ Castor , I have noticed a significant difference in terms of fit and comfort between the two, I believe I'm better off with an IEM that has smaller nozzles, atleast smaller than the zero reds. I do not have a preference on tuning yet (I don't think i can even tell the difference between the kz castor and the zero reds nor do i think would I be able to) but if it helps with suggestions, I mainly use it to listen to "mellow" music, female vocals, and videogame soundtracks. Some examples would be : Lazy Afternoons by Yoko Shimomura, Missing Home by Erikson Jayanto & Mevlied Nahla, Silver Lining by Laufey, Magnolia by Laufey etc., I'm looking to change mainly due to comfort; As I fall asleep with the IEMs sometimes, I'd also like it if it's durable, preferrably metal casing. My budget is $100 but would prefer it to be lower, The current options that I have on my list are: Tin Hifi T4 BLON BL03 Kefine Delci Kinera Celest Wyvern Black Moondrop Aria Please let me know of your opinions or if you have suggestions, thank you very much!

Hey! Sorry for the loss, buying a new cable would be the only smart thing to do! You should check what type of pins your IEM uses by googling the model and then order a cable you like with the same pin configuration so it's compatible with your IEMs. I can't recommend any high quality cables as I'm not good with all the details. I've gotten a TRN T2 pro cable for one of my IEMs, you can check those out if you want. I hope other cable savvy people see this and recommend better ones!

i had the same problem with my tin c0 and moondrop chu 2...after a long use one side will always sound weaker/clogged, both are metal build iems...but i haven't encountered the same isssues with my simgot ew300, which i've used for a year now

Older versions of android before Android 16 have a bug where they under deliver volume on some dongles. If you update to Android 16 that might solve your low volume issue. Another IEM that is very affordable and I hugely recommend is the KZ Castor or the Castor Pro. They come in either standard Harman curve or extra bass curve which is really more of a V shaped curve. Really excellent extremely detailed and punchy especially on the extra bass Castor. It's my favourite IEM and I've had some pairs as expensive as $400. The Castor is still my favourite and they sell for about $20-35 USD across the various versions. My second favourite, on which I'm sure many people will disagree, is the TIN HIFI T2 just the standard T2 not any of the other versions. It's a wonderful fully metal built IEM with a terrific sound. Less overall detail than the castor but it has a very musical and enjoyable sound. It costs about $50 USD.
