Appreciate the warning! Could you share more details? I’m a beginner looking for a massive jump from my current gear (Simgot Planar).

New? Ft1 pro, the regular Ft1 is good but not "big ass easy to drive planar magnetic that come with both 3.5 and 4.4 cables. For about 200 But year on year, used grado sr60, 80, 125, and 225's. Used pristine 125e's are like 50 bucks everywhere and they're just a fabulous set of cans, and durable as hell.. But new, its the Ft1 pro, no contest. Or iems. Moondrop kadenz are just astonishing for 200 bucks. But the simgot em6l are also amazing for 100.

I have a Simgot em6l but I’m interested in trying one of the budget options for fun, I only use them for tacfps games and nothing else. Hoping to keep it under $30. Looking to hear back from you guys!

So basically all IEMs will be good for gaming, but ones with less bass are probably what you're looking for as they'll be less likely to be bloated and hide footsteps. Something like the Simgot EM6L or EW300 would be good, but honestly just going with something cheaper like the Kiwi Ears Belle or DUNU Titan X would be fine as well. The difference between these price points is driver configuration as the budget IEMs are almost always single DD (dynamic driver) while slightly higher prices can give you more variety in driver type and also introduce hybrid IEMs that use multiple driver types.

I play cs2 mostly (25k premier), and arc raiders nowadays. I’m currently on the Supermix 4. Very detailed footsteps and blasts aren’t crazy loud. Great for everyday works too, it’s more towards heavy bass. I also pair it with the fiio k11, but I think you can do without it.
