Those are overpriced due to lack of stock where I live. There is one called Razer kraken X Essential that is also cardioid with a more reasonable price. I might try that. I've heard bad things about Razer durability as well but as long as it lasts this year it'll be fine.

"voiceover quality" vs "no background noise" are actually two opposing requirements, unfortunately. The tldr reason is because the electret mics in headsets are generally the same quality, minus their pickup pattern - Unidirectional pickup (cardioid) only picks up sound pointed at your face, but can be prone to issues like being too close to your mouth, or moments of bad quality from the blasts of air when speaking "P", "B", "D" etc sounds - Omnidirectional pickup allows more background noise, but is free from all the negatives Skipping to the point, since lower sound quality is OK, and you need noise rejection above all else, see if you have discounts on the Razer Blackshark V2. They're marked down to ~$35USD in my area. I own one and keep it at my piano. They don't lead in sound in any area, but are an immense value under $40USD *(they were originally $99 headphones, after all)*. It's a cardiod like mentioned above, so find a "sweet spot" for the mic and keep it in that angle. I believe it had history of mic complaints, but from *my ownership* it was fine. I think those complaints are from people who lost the foam screen (for plosives) or kept the mic at bad angles.
