It’s amazing how in 2025 I went from getting my first IEM to my endgame. I’m not saying it will be my last IEM, but definitely will be my highest-end in the long term. Kotori Audio Zephyr Dunu Titan S2 KZ EDX Pro Campfire Audio Andromeda 10

Hello everyone! If you've followed me for any period of time you'll know I'm a big fan of Campfire Audio. I've bought a number of their IEMs, including a Cascara Achromatic, Andromeda 2019, and Alien Brain. I still use those IEMs on a regular basis, though my wife has claimed the Alien Brain as her own as of late (apparently "it's so ugly its cute"). I recently completed my assessment of the new Andromeda 10 and, wow, this is a fantastic IEM. It's basically the closest I've gotten to reproducing my 2-channel speaker system in IEM form. Its sub-bass is well-extended, rolling into a slightly elevated mid-bass. The Andromeda 10’s lower-mids are blended nicely into its sub-bass, carrying a healthy dose of warmth. The upper-mids sit above the lower-mids, but don’t ever over-step, ensuring a cohesive, though distinct, vocal and instrumental space. Above the Andromeda 10’s upper-mids sits its expressive and precise treble. The Andromeda 10 expertly-balances a medium-serving of brightness with comfort while preserving the carefully-curated “vibe” of its predecessors. Its upper-treble features a few key lifts and peaks to bring out a sense of sparkle and air. Simply put, the Andromeda 10 sounds like a good pair of HiFi speakers: rich, quick, and detailed. # Conclusion The Andromeda lineup has never been about neutrality. It’s never been about cost-efficiency. It’s never been about stage monitoring. The Andromeda has always represented the apex of Campfire Audio’s philosophy: that audio should be warm, welcoming, and something worth remembering. As such, I think the Andromeda 10 earns its keep as the new Campfire Audio brand ambassador. I would love to buy an Andromeda (any version), but I don't want to spend what they're asking for. Lowest I've seen on a 2nd hand platform was 350€. I own a Campfire Audio IO, which sounds awful, but I paid 30€ for it and I love how it fits me, nothing I've tried gives the same isolation and it doesn't hurt over time. I am hoping I can find one Andromeda for around 150€ or less one day, I've gotten similar or better discount percentages in the past by buying 2nd hand but it's a waiting game and it's based on luck, mostly.

Still a pretty IEM after so many years with small changes here and there. Looking forward to comparing it to my OG Andromeda.

Congrats with your purchase! I don't think they've changed much after a month. The only thing I've been doing is rotating through the tips that worked best with my Andromeda 10: High & Clear tips included, the H-01 tips from Kotori, and the Baroque Stage. Both the tips from Campfire and Kotori sound pretty identical on my ears, with the Baroque Stage sounding the best as it adds height in the soundstage making it sound a lot more spacious a long with adding a bit more bass. I will have to try them again with the Dunu S&S as insertion is tricky with the combo. Andromeda 10 requires me to use large ear tips as it sits closer to the opening of my ear canals, I'm normally a medium. Yes, I used them in my portable setup with my HiBy R6 III, but sometimes plug it in on my Fiio K3 for desktop use. Where'd you get the Astell & Kern HC5? They're still on preorder on BloomAudio. Edit: I have tried the largest Dunu S&S tips and was able to secure them in my ears. They do intensify the sounds a bit and I like it. In comparison, I hear the plucky and sparkly parts of tracks a bit more pronounced, whereas the Baroque Stage makes them a bit softer and farther away because of the added height in the sound stage.
