hey guys! what do you reckon is a very good way to get a low latency wireless connection between headphones and a windows PC? I'm currently using Sony WH-CH710N headphones and windows 10 and am getting about 330ms of latency. I'd be willing to invest a couple hundred bucks because I do wear headphones pretty much during all of my free time so I do want to have a very good experience if possible. switching between wired and wireless throughout the day would be very inconvenient, which is why I would love to find a low latency wireless solution. if I'll have to get new headphones, I'd prefer over-ear with noise cancelling. Thank you all!

long story short, I'm using SONY WH-CH710N **headphones** and usually connect them via **bluetooth** to my **Windows 10** PC. I've always gotten a lot of latency this way, so I am sometimes forced to switch to a wired connection, but since I often walk around the apartment with my headphones on, it would be very inconvenient to constantly switch between wired and wireless. The **latency** does get annoying tho, and testing it just earlier, it seems I'm experiencing roundabout **350ms** of it, which apparently is a lot worse than what could theoretically be possible. I am somewhat computer literate, but no expert by any means, which is why I would be really grateful if maybe some of you guys could help me understand what could theoretically be done to reduce this latency of a third of a second that I'm dealing with, even if it meant getting new devices (my 710N are starting to fall apart anyway haha). Thanks a bunch!

headphoneadvice “comfortable wireless headphones for big-ish ears and head?”
hi! i recently got a pair of soundcore q45s and i find that after a while they feel like they are squeezing my head. I also previously had a pair of the Sony wh-ch710Ns and they fell apart quickly and after around 30 mins my ears (like my actual physical earlobe and helix and stuff) would start to hurt. and i'm looking for something in a similar price range (sub $200) that is comfortable for long wear. im in the USA and ill be using the headphones on the go (im a college student so in the library and around campus etc). thanks in advance!!

headphoneadvice “Looking to upgrade from 10 year old Sennheiser Momentums to wireless”
**Budget:** $250-$400. I can go over if there's a big jump in quality for under $500. **Intended use:** Travel, coffee shops, and listening around the house. **Music genre:** Metal, rock, indie, hip hop. **Past gear:** Sennheiser Momentum from 2015. Sony WH-CH710N, and Airpods Long story short I would like a more immersive headphone for music. My understanding is that wireless will always be lower quality compared to wired in the same price point, but I would really like the flexibility of wireless. If there's an option to do wireless with wired for higher quality that would be cool too. I don't have the best understanding of headphones and currently don't have the bandwidth to deep dive before making a decision. Thanks for any advice.

Howdy. I recently realized while using my Sony WH-CH710N that I could hear more and sort of pin point where the instruments were compared to my airpods. Airpods are on their way out and if I'm going to spend money on a new headset, I would like to get something that really raises the bar compared to what I've experienced before. I'm not terribly well informed in the headphones arena so I appreciate any and all advice you have. Thanks! **Budget:** $300-$400. If the right fit is slightly over or under that's fine too, but I wouldn't be comfortable going up to $500 unless the jump in quality from $400 to $500 is significant. **Source:** Bluetooth into iPhone 16 Pro. A wired in option like USB-C would be fine if that's what's required for lossless. **Isolation:** Some ANC would be nice, but it's not the primary focus of the purchase. **Tonal Balance:** I like a lot of different music but metal (melo, death, prog, doom, stoner etc) is where my heart is. I'm not terribly versed at understanding treble, mids, bass etc. **Specific use:** At home, coffee shops, and traveling/flying **Past headphones:** Airpods Pro and Sony WH-CH710N **Preferred Music:** Metal, rock, hip hop, indie **Improvements:** I'm hoping for a wireless option with a better sound than I've experienced with my previous headphones. If I could go somewhere and test a dozen headphones out I would, but I'm not seeing anywhere besides 2 or 3 options at Best Buy. **Location:** US
