BackBeat Go 810

Greetings. I've been reading a few posts trying to get a grasp on who are the leaders in the headphone space. I've watched LTT for a few years now and think a few characters there still reference Sennheiser as a go-to but I'm not deep enough in the industry to know who's driving now and AFAIK, Sennheiser was bought out right? Ultimately I'm looking to replace my [Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2s](https://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-Backbeat-Pro-Canceling-Headphones/dp/B07BMCNMCD). These have been phenomenal on sound (at least to my pedestrian ears) but the pads are wearing out and I'm tired of replacing them, and if I don't have the strap perfectly set it puts incredible pressure on my ears (glasses wearer). Plus I've dropped them a time or two and they will randomly lose power completely, probably a wire short internally. I just think in general its time to try something different. **Budget** \- I think Ideally I'd like to say above $150 and under $300. **Source/Amp** \- Still keeping Bluetooth because I do like to get up and walk around while a podcast is running in YT. When it comes to wearing things, I hate wires. **How the gear will be used** \- ANC is kind of a requirement since the Backbeats 2s have it and it works great. I can cut the sound of an international flight in half, though that's a HUGE edge case. **Preferred tonal balance** \- I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile. I'm middle aged now so this will be mostly podcasts and if I'm lucky, a gaming night once a week. **Preferred music genres** \- If it helps.. from Beatles <-> NIN **Past gear experience** \- I would argue the Plantronics were my first REAL set of headphones, prior to that I was rocking a SteelSeries Arctis 3 which was comfortable but very mediocre on sound. Not concerned about a mic, I have a Yeti for that.
