Noise Cancelling 700

Sennheiser Momentum 4 are great headphones, but Bose QuietComfort have much better noise cancellation. I have both of these. I only took the Sennheisers on a single plane trip. The Bose go with me everywhere. At home, I always pick the Sennheisers.

I’m debating which headphone are better and would be a better choice to get. I already have a pair of AirPod. But want a headphone for travel, long music session, comfort, best music quality, and noise cancellation. I look countlessly at the stats. But I just wondering which headphones do you think are better and why? I want something that gives crisp music quality with great tremble and bass I don’t have a price budget and these headphone won’t be my everyday headphones as they will be used mostly for travel and long music sessions. Never had a Bose or Sony headphone and mostly only used Beats Powerbeats 2 and AirPods Pro’s 3. So I don’t have that much past experience with headphones, unless you count cheap $30 dollars one that I got as gifts. Any input would be extremely helpful and thank you.

I am finally in the market for a good pair of headphones and have never invested in them. I have a boring cheap pair of BT headphones that don't even work anymore. I also have an old (15+ years) pair of Sennheiser HD 206 wired headphones that do work but they're wired. The ear feels good on them to me and I can wear them for quite a while. I would be willing to get a BT adapter so my computer can use them. Here is what I'm looking for: Budget: $200 or under Location: Online, preferably Amazon or eBay Use: Will be used for general use, I watch a lot of youtube videos on true crime and listen to a lot of music in all genres, the most common genres are rock and indie folk. I will be using these at home which is a fairly quiet environment and I won't need noise cancelling Tonal balance: I like a little bass but don't need it to be pumping, I don't like things to be too tinny or too mellow, just a nice well-rounded sound Source/Amp: want to be able to use on my computer (which doesn't have BT capability unless I get an adapter, which I could) and also want to be able to use wirelessly so I can wear them while doing housework and working out Previous experience: Not a lot. I tried on Sony WH-CH720N and Bose QuietComfort headphones at a Best Buy and thought I could probably deal with them ok. Wasn't the most perfect thing in terms of fit but I was satisfied with the sound and thought either one would be comfortable enough to wear for a while. One thing about my cheap BT headphones is that once I connected them to my travel laptop that does have BT connectivity, I couldn't get them to disconnect from that and reconnect to my phone. I'm hoping that's just because they were cheap and it'll be easier on more expensive headphones. I would like to spend $200 or less, but that budget could be pushed a bit if there's something more worth it. I'm not an audiophile, not even close. I just want a comfortable pair of headphones that stays on my head, doesn't pull on my ears and has a well-rounded sound.

I’m About to make a job change to wfh and decided last week I’d get myself a Christmas present of noise cancellation, over the ear headphone to reduce those outside distractions while I’m trying to concentrate and focus. 4 or 7 years or so ago the wife and I were goofing in a mall and visiting a crowded Apple Store for some reason. We live in a rural area and it’s two hours to the nearest so it’s a novel event and we wandered around checking out everything . Outside of some Bose about 15+ years ago, I’ve never had occasion to be near NC Headphones. Anyway, I popped these on and EVERYTHING went dead silent. Best of all, my wife’s voice, right in front of my face trying to talk to me. Reminded me of that scene in, I think, Face Off with travolta and cage where someone drops headphones of soothing music on the little 4 yr old kid and then a huge gun battle breaks out. In that crazy, crowded, noisy store I heard nothing but soft cool jazz. I could see my wife’s lips moving but could hear a word and it was pure bliss. Not sure which model I had but they were like $500+ at the time. Q: Anything BETTER, or cheaper yet still super isolating and effective these days? How would I go about trying other models out? Also appreciate advice on replacing ear pads, battery life, overall longevity of devices.

Hello!! So sorry if this isn’t the right flair, but I didn’t know what else to put and where else to ask. I’m autistic and have a pair of Hush ANC headphones that I use daily to help block out the world. I live in a dorm, and while these aren’t absolutely perfect like my old Bose were, these are safer (the ANC is strong enough to block out most noises while still allowing me to hear if someone comes up behind me, which is really important to me when crossing campus at night). I was halfway through my walk to Walmart today and slid them back up onto my head after they’d been around my neck, and they just snapped. I’m not going to lie, but I cried a bit. I can’t really afford to replace them right now as my family doesn’t help with my education at all, so I’m funding everything myself. I bought superglue and I have clear tape, but is there any way to fix it that won’t just immediately snap? I’m scared the superglue won’t cure properly or be strong enough to hold up. Should I wait for it to cure and then wrap it in tape anyways just in case, or is there something more I could do?
