headphones “P100se my first "proper" headphones. what a revelation Dude !”

Listening to music is a completely different experience now. I always used decent, budget-friendly headphones like Soundcore, and I didn't expect such a massive difference. The sound is so crisp and clean, it feels like my ears have been reborn honestly. Even simple stuff like stereo panning is insanely more noticeable compared to my old gear. Sitting on a train right now and time just flys by. :D

headphones “a cry for help from a headache-prone person”

So a few months ago I had bought the Soundcore Q20i after I had lost my Remax RB-800HB headphones (gifted by a friend who bought it from singapore). The headphones worked great except for one major issue: the clamp force gave me major headaches and eye strain 5 minutes into wearing them. It was unbearable and didn’t get any better after a few days of use so I returned them. Fast forward to March, I ordered JLAB Jbuds ANC as they were in stock. I wanted to try those as they were in the same price range as soundcore, and I wanted to see if they would give me headaches or not. Just got these yesterday, and I have realised that the headache is still being triggered. I think I may need to return these as well as its not getting better. Now my question is, what do I do about this? I really want to buy headphones (for active/passive noise cancellation while studying, and for sound quality) i don’t want to buy IEMs or anything like that. As for TWS, I already have a pair of 2nd gen airpods. Is there any particular type of headphones that would not cause headaches? The REMAX RB-800HB headphones i lost were absolutely amazing. Didnt have ANC but the passive NC was good enough. The comfort was amazing, I remember wearing it for 10-12 hours daily while doing work and wouldnt get any eyestrain, headaches, discomfort. (But i can’t seem to find reliable sellers in India, otherwise I’d buy them again) Does this mean it could have something to do with the ANC? Is it that headphones with ANC are designed to have more clamp force which is causing the headaches? Would getting on-ear instead of over-ear ones reduce the headaches? Either way, I would really appreciate some advice on why this is happening and what I can do further. Thank you.

I recently got into headphones and I tried Anker Soundcore Space and Sony ch729n though I am no expert in music or an audiophile these so audio did not really matter to me. But I really liked the build quality of Anker more than Sony. But the biggest problem for me was the pain - Anker caused a lot of pain by using for just 15-30 mins usage while Sony lasts at least an hour before it starts paining but it isn't unbearable while Anker was impossible to use after 30 mins. Now I am going to try Chinese brand again Budget: ¥400 ($60) Location: China (taobao) Usage: Music and office calls Brands Shortlisted: * 1More HQ31/51 * UGreen Max6 * Baseus * SIMGOT EH500

headphones “Comparing the Sony wh-ch720n with the edifier 820nb plus”

I recently bought the Sony wh-ch720n because my previous headphones the edifier 820nbplus broke.I thought that I should do a comparison/review of both to help other people that might stumble upon those options having tried them both.Firstly I wanna clarify that the edifier out of the box have a better quality in the sound.They support the LDAC codec and they are one of the few high res audio in the under 100 category.The Sony ones might not have the same clarity but the sound is overall more loud I would say 70% of the sound on the Sony is the 100% equivalent of the edifier when I was using the edifier I really thought that was a problem it bugged me a lot.Also the Sony gave a wider soundstage for sure and the eq really makes the sounds pop more.The edifier unfortunately does not have an eq.I would say in terms of battery life they are both mediocre.The ANC is better on the edifier for sure the Sony have ANC but it's not as strong.One major thing I noticed is that the Sony headphones are wayyyyy more comfortable than the edifier that really hurted my head after long listening sessions.They are lighter and sometimes I'm forgetting that I'm even wearing them. I don't really have a clear winner it is really a matter of preference if ANC is important to u and want clear sound I would suggest the edifier if you want comfortable headphones and personalization go for the Sony.Also I wanna mention that the edifier ones have more expensive and harder to find spare parts if you want to replace the ear pads (with 2 years of usage the skin of them WILL be torn apart)it will cost you around 20euros.

headphoneadvice “Help picking headphones”

I'm looking to buy a pair of over ear, Bluetooth headphones but I have no idea what I'm looking for. My budget is no more than £200, preferably under £150. I plan to use them mainly for music through my phone and laptop, I'd prefer nice bass but as long as the audio is good I'm not overly bothered. They'll mainly be used outside, in public, in busy places so some sort of noise cancelling is preferably, possibly with the option to turn it on and off. I've been using Anker Sound core Life A2 NC for years now because they were cheap and good but they're past their due date. I enjoy the app and I know Anker is good quality but I'm willing to branch out. Any recommendations would be very appreciated.
