Topic question, and I’m more talking about temporarily ignoring certain handhelds, but is there one handheld you disproportionately play more than all the rest, for numerous months at a time? I recognize this is a phenomenally common thing but w/e I wanted to talk about it lol. I primarily got into handhelds because I’ve started experiencing motion sickness/ nausea in recent years unless I’m playing on smaller screens, and I also really enjoy sitting on the couch with my wife and gaming while she’s doing something else. I own a Steam Deck OLED (which I got for free), a PS Portal and Switch 2, and just got a Legion Go S during the BestBuy Black Friday sale. I was playing my SD OLED that I won at a company party a ton until Switch 2 released, and then that was my obsession for awhile especially since I loved DK Bananza so much and was having a blast with a portable SF6. However, my use waned after I got a PS Portal (I know, it’s not a dedicated device, only streams, has connection issues, etc etc) due to the novelty of revisiting my PS4/PS5 library in handheld format, and the super light feel and I dig the controls and haptics. Despite all its limitations and flaws, I was getting a lot out of mileage out of it. Then I made a very impulsive purchase when I bought the Legion Go S (Z1E 32GB Steam OS version) like a lot of ppl did during BestBuy’s Black Friday deal. And hot damn, i literally haven’t picked up any of my other handhelds since then. Im so happy and impressed with it that I’ve been completely ignoring the rest of my handhelds for nearly two months now. I’ve also found myself completing more games and even double dipping at times, playing some titles that would objectively look better on the Portal. TLDR idk wtf this topic is but yeah.

Portables are the best! Father of a soon to be one year old I have a portal, Switch 2, and recently upgraded my Steam Deck to a Legion Go S. I love that thing. Haven’t picked up my Switch 2 or Portal since I got it! Don’t even get me started on my retro handhelds collection 😵‍💫

I completely agree with your opinion. The Mini V2 is the best for secondary or portable use, and you can combine it with either the Portal, Ally X, or Deck as your main device.
