People on this sub forget what an average person’s coffee tastes like. Give me a Gagia, a pressurized basket and some two month old Cafe Bustello and I’m 100x happier than the typical Air B&B Keurig that hasn’t been cleaned since like 1994 and some store brand pods.

If you don't want to make it a hobby, there's a lot of other options. Literally anything is better than a Keurig. Just get a French press for 15 dollars and some decent ground beans and it's basically an entirely different experience than warm water through a plastic pod, and honestly not even that much less convenient imo. From there you can try getting a decent grinder and grind your own beans. From there you could maybe experiment with pour over. If you really want to do espresso without the hobby part look into super automatics. Breville is the most recommended entry brand for most people.

I have a breville barista pro and a keurig in my Airbnb. I include a QR code to a short tutorial, a bag of fresh beans from my favorite local roaster, and some Kirkland brand whole milk boxes (the juice box horizontally style ones) in the fridge. I get so many great reviews around the espresso machine
